A template is a whole site, captured. It carries the theme, the plugins, the content, the settings, and any custom or must-use plugin code you wrote. When you deploy from it, you get that site again with a new name and a new URL.
You make one from any site you host with us. Build the site you wish you started from, register it as a template, and it is available from then on.
How long does deploying a site take?
About thirty seconds from the request to a live HTTPS URL. In the beta proof run it was measured at thirty-one seconds.
That number is the point of the whole feature. A setup that takes thirty seconds is something you do during a client call. A setup that takes a weekend is something you quote for, schedule, and resent.
In practice it looks like this: you ask your assistant to deploy the agency template as acme-dental, and before the call ends there is a working site to look at.
Can I use my own domain?
Yes. Hosted sites live on *.sites.vibery.app by default, and you can point your own domain at one. The certificate is issued automatically.
So the template flow works for real client work, not just prototypes: deploy, point the domain, hand it over.
Keeping templates from going stale
The usual failure of a starter kit is drift. Six months in, the template installs plugin versions nobody uses any more and a theme you have since abandoned.
Because a Vibery template is just a site, the fix is to keep improving the source site and republish it. The next deploy carries whatever you learned on the last three projects, instead of whatever you knew the day you wrote the checklist.
